  • BEN CLATWORTHY QUARTET

    Date:
    Monday 26th October 2015 at 8:30pm
    Ticket Price:
    £11

Famously the grandson of the legendary Gertrude Lawrence - Ben was born in England in '55. However, in 1980 - following lessons from Ronnie Scott - he moved to L.A. and studied with Phil Sobel. As a resident in LA, Ben has worked with such as Lionel Hampton, Cedar Watts, Jimmy Cleveland, Horace Silver and has been variously described as a 'master player' - 'sublime' - 'brilliant'.
However, do be warned, Ben's often outrageous humour can bemuse and disconcert ....!! So - on all counts an evening not to be missed.

This evening Ben is supported by a superb rhythm section of :

    JOHN DONALDSON - keys
    SIMON THORPE - bass
    MATT HOME - drums
